5 years time. It was released one summer when I did a lot of fun things with my friends from York, so reminds me of them.
What is your favorite song of 8?
Oh so many! I love Every teardrop is a waterfall. But they have so many classics. Yellow, God put a smile on your face, Warning sign, Fix you, Green eyes…. Yeah I could go on for a while.
What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?
Pretty huge. They are one band that I’ve loved since the first listen. And going to uni in the town they come from, you can’t really avoid being affected by them. Their songs are sort of a map of my life, so many memories from so many songs!

One of my friends that I lived with in 1st year of uni gave me her first album, and fell in love from there.

Kiss of life, Jump in the pool or Hawaiian air (I’m really bad at picking favourites!)

Once, with Everything Everything supporting them, so it was a double whammy of greatness. Really want to see them again.

“What you know” was my catwalk music, and it was so different to the other songs picked, it was amazing!

“Warning sign”. the lyrics are quite sad.
